Christina “Tina” Belsito-
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Christina “Tina” Belsito beloved wife of the late Max Belsito, sister of the late Freddie and Anthony Gioe (Brooklyn, New York). Loving daughter of the late Sarah and Thomas Gioe (Brooklyn, New York). Cherished mother to Debbie Belsito (Paula Naylor), Tom (Cathy) Belsito, Brenda Walls (Rusty) Marwede and the late George (Marietta) Lycopolus. Stepmother to Maxine (Philip) Belanger. Proud Nana to Christina (Nick) Farand, Justin Walls (Matt), Jordan Belsito, Tyler (Robyn) Belsito, Stephen (Emily) Lycopolus, Miquel Gauthier, Doug (Antoinette) Belanger, Madellaine (Doug) MacMillan and Christopher Belanger. Nana also loved ten great grandchildren.
Tina married Max and came to Canada at age 28 and made it her home. She spent her life serving her family, her community, and her church. Her faith was her strength and her strength was our strength. In her bible she wrote, “I am with my Lord and am peaceful”.
Tina died November 24, 2018 peacefully at the F.J. Davey Home surrounded by family and friends in her 92nd year. A Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (114 MacDonald Ave) on December 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a reception in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
