Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Roy Maitland can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Suddenly at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday August 25, 2018 in his 80th year. Left behind is his wife Diane and his children Rhonda, Bradley (Stephanie) and Douglas. Grandfather and great grandfather of many. Son of the late Albert and Mary Jane Maitland. Brother of the late Mary Ellen, late Arthur (Jane), Lillie Mae (late Lyle), late Alvin (late Betty), late Gladys (late Warren), late Anna (late Ernie), Blanche (Clarence), Edna (late Roderick) and Albert (Marcia). Roy was brother-in-law to Yvette Tiplady, Art Gouge (Sylvia), Marg Shaughnessy (late Bob) and predeceased by Victor, Armand (late Letta), Ron (late Rhea), Leo, Albert (Kitty), Lorette Lariviere (Frank) and Gerry (Mille). He will be remembered by his numerous nieces nephews as well as Cheryl, Keyona, Makayla and D’Andre. Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St (corner of Cathcart and St. James St) on Wednesday August 29, 2019 at 2:00pm with Pastor Craig Rankin officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ARCH.
