Miceli, Michael-
It is with a deep sense of loss that we announce the passing of the head of our family, Michael. Survived by his life long love, Janet, his wife of 53 years, their son Sam, predeceased by their infant daughter, Liza Jean. Also survived by his children with Patricia, Michael (Denise), Bonnie Grandbois (Leo), Shirley Mancuso (Gino), Bob, Steven (Donna) and Perri. Mike was in his 92nd year, He grew up in Bayview by his parents, Giusseppe and Assunta. He is survived by his sister, Mary Wilding (Gerry) (late Don Pariseau) and sister in law, Glo Miceli (late Alfred). Predeceased by his other siblings, Eda Panco (late Sam), late Louis Meandro, Alfred (Gloria), Angelo (late Rose) and Sam. Also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law Bernard & Louise Wilson and Bob & Jean Greco. He will be remembered by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and friends from St. Joseph Island, where they had Miceli’s Restaurant & Trading Post. They also enjoyed friendships with fellow campers at Bell’s Point. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Visitation from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Friday June 22, 2018 at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St (corner of Cathcart & St. James St). Memorial Service to follow in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society.
