Condolence From: John Barnett
Condolence: It was with great sadness to discover that Father Bill Stadnyk has passed away. My condolences to Doreen and family. Bill was very influential in developing my love of the outdoors and nature by taking me and others on many outdoor trips. He also gave me many fond memories when attending Camp Manitou. He will be sadly missed by all those that had the honour to know him.

Bill was a great influence on my life and I can remember the many times we had on his trapline, especially one deadly encounter with a bear.. Condolence: Please accept my condolences Doreen and family. I have many great memories from long ago when Father Bill was my priest and pastor in Manitouwadge. We had so many outdoor adventures in the bush, at Camp Manitou, and of course we had spiritual guidance as we teens struggled with our confirmation classes and our Altar Boy duties. Church of The Holy Spirit and Fr. Bill were such a blessing for many young people in those days.

Condolence: There is a Jewish phrase that goes: " May is his name be for a blessing". (My wife is Jewish) And I think whenever I think of Father Bill I will be thinking of how much his life, kindness, humor, and sense of adventure blessed my life and that of thousands of others. What a wonderful person.. get ready to pull Heaven, You have a true Voyageur paddling the rivers of paradise. God Bless Father Bill.
