Obituary for Elio Piccolo

Elio Piccolo
Passed away surrounded by family on May 19th, 2018 at the age of 73, in Sault Ste Marie, ON, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Beloved husband of Mary-Lou for 46 years, and loving father of David (Kestine). Dear brother of the late Lucia Piccoli (Ermes), the late Francesco (Terry), and Viktor. Special brother-in-law to Gayle Allinotte, and the late Clayton Allinotte (Norene). Loving devoted uncle and mentor to his many nieces, nephews, and god-children – of which he shared a special bond with ‘his girls’: Kim Allinotte, Stephanie Nolan (Steve), Trina Chapman (Chris), and Pamela Armstrong (Todd). Elio was a gentle and loving man, devoted to his family, and faithful to God whom he loved. His legacy is the unconditional love left in the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known him. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at the F.J. Davey Home. Friends may attend a memorial mass on Saturday, May 26th at 11 a.m. at St Jerome’s Church, 26 Carmel Rd, Sault Ste Marie, ON. There will be a gathering in the church hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations to the F.J. Davey Home Foundation for beds in memory of Elio would be greatly appreciated.
