Richard Walter  Piche
Passed away Saturday July 22nd 2017 at Espanola General Hospital in his 55th year. He was born October 6, 1962 in Espanola Ontario. Dear son of the late Daniel & Jeannette Piche (nee Vanier). Loving brother to Joanne Piche (son Jeffrey Devon) of Espanola, Monica (husband Randall Lepine) of Spanish, Brian (wife Deirdre) of Waterloo, Roger Pepin (partner Frances) of North Bay. Loved and cherished friend of his Sault family, Helen Ahonen (friend Phillip), Bentley Ahonen (wife Kate and their son, Oskar (Richeys little buddy), Brandon Ahonen, all of Sault Ste Marie. Jason Ahonen (wife Margaret) and their 2 children Brody & Ruby of Vancouver. Also survived by three nephews, three nieces, one great niece and one great nephew. He will also be missed by many friends and previous employees and coworkers. Richard attended Sault College where he studied commercial art and photography. He worked in retail involving film development and sales. He eventually moved into management position at Japan Camera then onto Blacks Photography in Sault Ste Marie. Internment of ashes was held at the Espanola Cemetery where he was laid to rest with his parents. He was surrounded by close family and friends. If so desired donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke society.
