Duncan  Watson
Peacefully with family by his side at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday August 7, 2017, Duncan Watson at the age of 70. Loving husband of Donna for 49 years. Cherished father of Kimberly-Ann Watson. Grandpa of Kambreya-Rose and Colin. Predeceased by his parents David and Elizabeth Watson. Survived by his sister Shirley Friyia (late Vince) and his brother Tom (Sharon). Predeceased by his siblings Betty Trespasso, Mary Pettalia (late Peter), Patricia Briel (late Nick), Georgina Figliomeni (Frank), Stuart (late Isabelle), Heather Procious (late Bob), David (Wilda) and Jean Findlay (late Tom). Son-in-law of Rose-Marie and the late Michael Ontonovich. Brother-in-law of Christine (Julie) Teresinski, the late David Ontonovich and Len Ontonovich (Carrie). Duncan was uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will fondly be remembered by his life long friend Harry Whalen. As per Duncan’s wishes, cremation will take place. Family and friends are invited to O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St.) on Monday October 2, 2017 from 5:00pm until time of service in the chapel at 7:00pm. The family would like to thank Jim Keating and James West of WeCare for the loving care shown to Duncan, as well as the staff at the Sault Area Hospital 3C for the care and compassion given to him. Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Sault Area Hospital Cancer Care Fund and would be appreciated by the family.
