It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanne Smith on Thursday, April 6, 2017. Wife of William Vernelli. Dear mother of Ramona McKee (Peter Knapp) of Windsor Ontario, Michael Harris, John Harris and Steven Harris of Sault Ste Marie Ontario. Jeanne will be missed by her grandchildren Thomas McKee (Tiffany), Craig McKee, Kirsten Harris, Ryan Harris, David Harris and her great grandchildren. Much loved sister of Simone Desilva (Wilfred), Gerald Aubertin, Victoria Tremblay (Louis), Georges Aubertin (Karen), Edward Aubertin (Kathy), Juliette Carpenter (Dan), Annette Landriault (Lawrence) and Suzanne Campbell (David). Special sister in law of Anthony Vernelli (Marilyn), Mario Vernelli (Julie) and Janet Kobinski. As per Jeanne's wishes cremation will be taking place and a private family service will take place in the future. Memorial donations in Jeanne’s name may be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation.
