Reta went to sleep in death in her room at Maple View long-term care home on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the age of 86. She was the wife of the late John “Jack” Calvert. Together they had four children: Lynne Cliffe (John), Joanne Brygman (late Larry), the late Randy and the late Dale. Reta was the grandmother of Rachael, Rebecca, Seth (Rae-ann), Caleb and Caitlin (Fouad); great grandmother of Costa. She was the daughter of Ida and Herbert Therrien and step-daughter of Dave Walker. She was the sister of Don Therrien (late Glenna) and Sonia Long (Robert). Reta was the daughter-in-law of Olive and Wilbert Calvert; sister-in-law of the late Bill, late Robert (Marion) and Gary (Helen). At the “home,” she had her “favourites” and they had her. Thank you for your heart. Both living and working in a long-term care home has its challenges, but also its rewards. May you continue the work of dignifying one another. A Memorial will be held on Saturday April 15, 2017 at 2pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness, 742 Third Line East.
