Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Richard Sherman can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

After a short battle, on Friday February 24, 2017 at the Sault Area Hospital, Rick Sherman in his 66th year. Loving and devoted husband of Jocelyn, adoring father of Nicholas (Britt). Rick will be lovingly remembered by Dan Pringle (Connie), Zack, Leah, Joshua, Cole and Jacob. Sadly missed by Lorraine and Linda Royal and Brian Cardinelli. Brother of the late Alice Holder, the late Marilyn Wallace (late Bob), late Fred Oswin (late Shirley) and Gladys Wright. He is survived by many nieces and nephews and will be remembered by his many friends especially George, Strecko, Sylvio and Ed. As per Rick’s request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James St.) on Tuesday February 28, 2017 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. The family would like to thank the nurses of the Sault Area Hospital 3B for their care and compassion, the Community Cancer Clinic, the Palliative team, Dr. Buehner and a special thank you to Dr. Banks for the care given to Rick. Donations in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Rick was a good man who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He will be greatly missed.
