Obituary for Louis Frederick Eldner

Louis Frederick Eldner
(August 29, 1939 - December 14, 2016)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, grandfather and husband, Fred on December 14, 2016 in his 77th year. Loving father of Dave and Kathy (Jason) Yukich. Proud Papa/Grandpa of Shayna (Mike), Evan, Sarah and Laura. Fred said he had three important women in his life, Sandra, who blessed him with both Dave and Kathy, Norma (late) and her son Bill (Louise) and daughter Heather, and Fred’s loving wife Boe and her McBride family, Chris (Corey), Eddy (Tammy), Scott (Tammy), Cherie (Mike), and Heather (Henry).
Fred was proud of his work at Thessalon Motors and Town of Thessalon. He was a counsellor for Huron Shores for two terms and has been a long time member of the Thessalon Lions Club. We wish to thank Dr. Keating and Dr. Rowe along with all the nurses at the Thessalon Hospital for their care and compassion. A special thank you to Dr. Spadafora and all the nurses in the Sault Area Hospital’s Cancer Clinic. God Bless you all. Friends and family may gather for a celebration honouring Fred on Saturday December 17th from 1-4 pm at the Little Rapids Community Hall. Memorial contributions to the SAH Cancer Clinic would be appreciated.
