Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ernest Niemi can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Ernest Armest Niemi
Beloved husband of Nancy Niemi. Loved father of Wanda McQueen (Bill), Lucinda Chittle (Guy) and Susan. Much loved Grandpa to Jennifer and Kellie McQueen, Jake Chittle (Samantha), Jessie Bryson (Don) and Jami-Lynn Jackson. Devoted Great Papa to Jordan, Aspen, Piper, Logan, Liam and Jace. Son of the late Rose and Arnie Niemi, brother of Velma McClelland, Glen Niemi and the late Bill. Ernie will be missed by his cat and companion Maddy. As per Ernie’s request, a private family service will take place. The family would like to thank the health care team at both the Sault Area Hospital and Health Sciences North in Sudbury for the care given to Ernie. Memorial donations may be made to the Sault Area Hospital Algoma Regional Renal Program and would be appreciated by the family.
