Rich passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at the age of 25. Beloved son of Janet and Doug. Cherished little brother of Sherrie and her husband Dave Pintaric. Proud Uncle Rich to Keyonnah and Konner. He leaves behind the love of his life, Jessica May. Dearest Grandson of Nanna June and the late Poppa Murray Peat and Albert (Grandpa Corky) and Sarah (Grandma Susie) Thiffault. Nephew of Janice (Michael) Hyrsky, Bucky (Darlene) Thiffault, Albert Thiffault Jr., and Michelle Lambert-Thiffault. Much loved Godson of Janice Hyrsky and Gordon Hubley. Rich will be missed his closest cousins Jordan and Josh Hyrsky and many others. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, humour and music. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Rich’s Life at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St) Saturday December 3, 2016 from 10:30am-12:30pm. A Memorial Mass will follow at 1:00pm at St. Gerard Majella Church (211 Pentagon St) with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. The family would like to thank Dr. DeFabio, Dr. Schaffi and all the ICU staff, including Byron, “the man of the hour” and “Super Dave”. You people are the best of the best. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Sault Area Hospital ICU Department.
