Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at the Algoma Manor on Saturday October 29, 2016, Rosa Furge at the age of 88. Wife of the late Steve (Istvan) Furge. Cherished mother of Marilyn Furge-Addison and Helene Furge (Graig). Predeceased by her children Etienne (Mike) Furge, Tibor Furge and Rose Furge. Grandmother of Travis Furge and Livia Furge-Addison. Great grandmother of Christian, Kaylee, Logan and Elorah. Daughter of the late Etelka Barto and Karl Barto (Livia). Sister of Helene Barto of Toronto. Family and friends are invited to support the family at a Celebration of Rosa’s Life at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (Corner of Cathcart and St. James St.) on Thursday November 3, 2016 from 6:00pm-8:00pm. The family would like to thank the staff at the Algoma Manor (Tamarack) for the care given to Rosa. Donations in Rosa’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of choice.
