Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Nicholson (Connelly)

Passed away peacefully at the F. J. Davey Home on August 22, 2016, Margaret (Peggy) Nicholson (nee Connelly) in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Captain A E Nicholson (Ed). Beloved mother of Charlie (Veronica), Richard, Catherine (Mirt) Pinnell and Janet Nicholson. Loving and proud grandmother of Charles Nicholson (Josie), Michael Nicholson (Leeanne), Robin Joanisse (Andre), Rick Nicholson, Lisa, Dominic and Holly Suriano (Michael). Great grandmother of Daniel, Gabrielle, Jenna, Alexandra, Brooke, Hailey and Blake and Bryce Suriano. Predeceased by her parents Trevor and Irene Connelly. Dear sister of Anne Marie, Dorothy, Charlie, Jack and predeceased by Carmel and Rita. Predeceased by her grandson Matthew Pinnell (2003). She will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Peggy volunteered with many services organizations that earned her the "Volunteer of the Year Award” in 1997. She dedicated her time to the Royal Order of Purple. When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 9:30 a.m. until time of the Funeral Service in chapel at 11:30am with Father Hamish Currie Officiating. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
