Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorine Elliott can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Dorine Francis "Babe" Elliott (Lasook)

Dorine passed away peacefully, with her family and friends at her side, at The Sault Area Hospital, on Monday, March 21, 2016 in her 73rd year. Survived by her devoted and loving husband Norman “Bobo”. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Jamie (Nancy) Elliott and Kerrie (Larry) Cond. Special Nanny of Michael (Lynaya) McLean, Amanda McLean, Kaitlin (Dusty) Elliott and Courtney Elliott. Adored Great Nanny of Marc and Macy McLean. Sister of Mike (late Judy) Lasook. Sister in law of Elizabeth (late Al) Brown, Carol (late Jimmy) Milligan, John (Patricia) Elliot and Frank (Susan) Elliot. Daughter of the late Frank and Doreen Lasook and daughter in law of the late Cecil and Mary Elliott. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her many friends and her furry friends Murphy and Buddy. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of SAH 3B, Emergency and Cancer Clinic, and Dorine’s friends for all their love and support. Private family services followed by cremation have taken place. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date when Dorine’s gardens are in bloom. Donations in her memory can be made directly to ARCH or Goulais Fire and Rescue. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
