Obituary for William "Bill" Pruce

After a courageous battle with cancer, Bill passed in the arms of his loving wife on Sunday August 17, 2014 at ARCH in his 69th year. Husband of Dawn Loraine (Cardinal). Dedicated stepfather for 40 years to Trudi Palahnuk (John) and Max Robinson. Son of the late Mike and Ida Pruce. Brother of the late Judy Weeks (Les), Linda Pruce (Frank), Janice MacElwain (Harold) and Greg Pruce (Linda). Loving grandfather to Hilary Palahnuk (Jonathon), John Jr. (Bud) Palahnuk and Maverick Robinson. Brother-in-law to Jane Williamson (late Jim), Joe Cardinal (Bonnie) and Mark Cardinal (Raili). Bill will be remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews and his precious dog "Ben". Bill was a lover of music, playing guitar in many bands in the Sault back in the days. He loved old cars, his job of running bulldozer (no matter how old), and telling jokes to family and friends to make people laugh. He took a great interest in young people on and off the work place. Many young friends looked up to him with respect as he always treated them as equals. In keeping with his wishes to be cremated, there will be a Celebration of Bills Life to be held on Tuesday August 26, 2014, from 4-9pm, come as you are, at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 25, upper floor (Great Northern Rd). A special thank you to all of the Angels at ARCH. In lieu of flowers, donations to ARCH would be appreciated by the family.
