Obituary for Samuel Walter Swain

Walter Swain passed away at Thessalon Hospital on Friday August 19, 2016 after a good, hard fight. He will be sorely missed by his loving wife Sharon and by our children, Rachel McLaughlin (Ryan), Will Swain (Morgan) and Barbara Wood (Darcy). Grandfather of TJ McKee, Hailey and Harmony Swain, Samuel McLaughlin and Tabatha McLeod. Son of the late Sam and late Gertrude Swain. Brother of Betty Reeves (Russ). Son in-law of Barbara Millroy (late Bill Wysynski) and Doug Millroy. Brother in-law of Stephen Wysynski (Renee) and Lynne Wysynski. Dear friend of Al Wildman. The family would like to thank Dr. Rowe and the compassionate nursing staff at the Thessalon hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Canadian Red Cross, The Heart and Stroke Foundation or ARCH. At the family's request, a private family gathering was held.
