Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ronald Ainslie can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Ainslie, Ronald Dustin passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2017. Beloved husband of Carolyn for 53 years. Cherished father of Corinna Foley (Liam), Pam Jones, and Dustin Ainslie (Rhonda). Proud grampa to Chieanne (Albert), Natasha (Mike) and Sarah. Loving great-grandfather to Oriana, Apple, Archer, Greyson, Jay and Aleera. Son of the late Leone and Anne Ainslie of Elizabeth Bay, Manitoulin Island. Survived by his brother Marty Ainslie (Molly) and sister Gerry Thomas. Brother in law to Anna James (the late Don), Olaf Bjornaa (Iolene), the late Duane Bjornaa (Joanne), Andy Clark (Cathy), Agnes Lidstone (Merv) and the late Alan Bjornaa (Cindy). Beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to the University of Toronto at donate.utoronto.ca or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Family and friends are invited to visit O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m. Funeral service to follow.
