Obituary for Lynwood Shiels Conway

Passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, January 3, 2016 in his 77th year. He is survived by his wife Wendy Conway and former wife Jackie Conway-Case. He will be lovingly remembered by his children Jesse Conway, Erin Conway, Liane (Bart) Shura, Leslie Conway and Lela Conway (Justin). Caring grandpa of Robbie, Kyle, Devon, Emma and Brielle (aka “Baby”). Shiels was the much loved brother of Robert Neil (Margaret) Conway, Theone (Joe) Collins and the late Devon Conway. He was the son of the late Robert John Conway and Helen Arvonen (nee Dickinson). Dear uncle of Rhonda Conway, Jamie (Don) Smith, Tracey (Tony) Paolucci, Rob (Heather) Conway, Sara Collins (late Mike Armstrong) and Amanda Collins (Chico Amaral). Great uncle to many nieces and nephews. To honor Shiels’ wishes there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank The SSM Police Service and SSM Fire and Paramedics. Memorial donations can be made in Shiels’ memory directly to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The War Amps and would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
