Obituary for Laurie Dewar

At the Sault Area Hospital, after a courageous battle on Monday July 28, 2014, Laurie Dewar in her 57th year. Beloved wife of David Dewar. Loving mother of Amy (Tom), Tracy (Steve), Jeff (Sydney), Dave (Carole) and Monica (Rob). Grandmother of Danielle, Austin, Jayden, Logan, Justin, Nathan, Brooke and Taylor. Daughter of Archibald (Buck) and the late Barbara Bradley. Sister of Jean (Bob), Sue (late Roy), late Rick (Carol), Cindy, Mike (Karen), the late Nancy, Dave and the late Jim (Terri). Laurie was a special aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by her lifelong and best friend Susan (Wayne).Family and friends may call at O'Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, (corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts.), Saturday August 2, 2014 from 11am until time of Memorial Service in the chapel at 1pm, with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Oddfellows or ARCH would be appreciated by the family. Laurie's family would like to thank Dr.'s Bowen, Spadafore, Rosso, the Palliative team on 3B at the SAH, Heidi and Christina, as well as Frank, Scott and the staff at IDA Pharmacy.
