Obituary for Jose de Oliveira Silva

We regret to announce the passing of Jose de Oliveira e Silva, on Friday January 29, 2016 at the age of 88. Loving husband of Sofia for 59 years. Father of Maria Glenn (Tim), Sophia Tuomela (Mark), George (Rena), Joe, David (Linda) and Claudette (Peter). Adoring grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 5. Brother of 9 siblings. Family and Friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James St) on Friday, February 5, 2016 from 11:00am until time of service in the chapel at 1:00pm, with Father Hamish Currie officiating. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of McCarroll Lake Extendicare Mapleview for their care and compassion given to Jose. Memorial donations in Jose’s memory can be made to the charity of choice.
