Obituary for Jose Oliveira

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Jose Maria Oliveira at the Sault Area Hospital on Saturday March 8, 2014. Jose was in his 94th year and was surrounded by his family when he went to meet his Lord and Savior and be reunited with his beloved wife Belmira. He is survived by his children Jose (Rosa), Maria Juliana (Marc), Manuel (Lina), Alice Masters (Douglas), Antonio (Denise) and Manuel Antonio. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren John, Joel, Alexia, Carlos, Juliana, Matthew, Michael, Karly, Elyse, Jessica, Toni-Lynn, Joshua, Alyia and James and his great grandchildren Noah, Mary, Allison, Rihanna and Vanessa. Family and friends are invited to call at O'Sullivan Funeral Home, (corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts.) Tuesday March 11th from 6-9p.m. Funeral Mass Wednesday March 12th, 2014 at Precious Blood Cathedral at 10 a.m. with Rev. Hamish Currie officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations to the Renal Unit at Sault Area Hospital would be appreciated. The Oliveira family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the 2nd floor at Van Daele Nursing home and 3 B at Sault Area Hospital for the care and compassion shown to Jose.
