Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Francis Bolton can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Francis Bolton

Peacefully at Extendicare Mapleview with his daughters by his side, on Thursday January 21, 2015. Francis Bolton at the age of 96. Husband of the late Jeannette Bolton (nee Reid). Friend of Lena. Francis was father to Jackie (late Merv) Devoe, Carol (Bernie) Skagen and the late Birdie Bolton (Cheryl). Step father to the late Ivan, Sherman, late George, Donna, late Pauline, late Doug, Rodney and the late Lorne. He was grandfather and great grandfather to many. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. As per Francis’ wishes a private family service will take place. The family would like to thank the staff on the 3rd floor Echo Bay at Extendicare Mapleview for all their wonderful care and compassion given to Francis. A special thank you to Sandy, for being there for us at the time of his passing. Donations may be made directly to the Soup Kitchen or to Mary of God Catholic Church. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
