Obituary for Derrick Trudeau

Suddenly at home on Sunday March 2, 2014, Derrick Trudeau in his 46th year. Son of Ida Rose and the late Joseph Trudeau. Special friend and step son of the late Emile Corbiere. Brother to Linda (Peter) Recollet and Wanda Trudeau. Step brother to Colleen Trudeau (Al), Randall Corbiere (Stephanie), Darryl Corbiere (Mindy), Francis Corbiere, and the late Terry Corbiere. Half brother to Sampson (Tammy), Karen (Dwayne), Amy (Jay) and Laurie (Nygel). Special Godfather to Charlene Recollet. He was uncle to many nieces nephews, and was cherished by many cousins. Derrick was an avid reader and collector of books, movies and music. He enjoyed writing, fishing, camping and hunting. Derrick will fondly be remembered by the professors at Algoma University and the students of Sault College. Family and friends are invited to call at O'Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Center, corner of Cathcart and St. James Sts. Thursday March 6 from 6-9p.m. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel, Friday March 7, 2014 at 12:00p.m. with Rev. Jean-Pierre Couillard officiating. Cremation to follow. Donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
