Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carmela Console can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Carmela Console

At the SAH, on January 3, 2014, Minnie Calic in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Paul. Loving mother of Jo-anne Scharf (Phil) of Nova Scotia, Paulette, Mike (Sandra) and Kathy Rogers (Brian) of California. Grandmother of Brent Rose (Alecia), Thomas Scharf, Laura Adams (Scott), Steven Scharf, Paul Calic (Jessica), Stacey Lucius (Will), Sheena Baldwin (Nick), Christina, Lilee and Luke Rogers. Special Great Grandmother of Mason and Addison Lucius who always brought a smile to her face and who she couldn't stop kissing. Daughter of the late Steve and Rose Suraci. Sister of Marie Proietti (John), Steve Suraci, predeceased by the late Angeline Maxwell (late Fred), late Joe Suraci (Virginia), late Albert Suraci (Emily), sister In-law of the late Lillian Yakick, and special Aunt to many Nephews and Nieces. Mom lost her husband at the young age of 32, she worked hard all her life to make sure she provided for her family. She always remained positive and had a smile for everyone she met. Friends and family are invited to call at O'Sullivan Donnelly Funeral Home and Cremation Center (corner of Cathcart and St. James St.) Wednesday January 8th from 11:00am until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
