Obituary for Brian Michael Simon

Brian passed away suddenly, at The Sault Area Hospital, on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at the age of 57. Dad will be lovingly remembered by his children Kara Simon (Chris Taraschuk) and Josh Simon (Darla Simpson). Much adored Grandpa of Hannah Simon, Emily and Benjamin Taraschuk, Kayden and Nathan Simon. Caring and humorous Brother of Stephen (Ida), Guy (Wendy), Lance (Velma), Michael (Lori) and Jason. Son of Marlene Simon and the late Steve Simon. Loving Uncle, great uncle and friend to many. Brian will also be missed by all his many work friends at Essar Steel Algoma. Family and Friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (corner of Cathcart and St. James St) on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 from 11:00am until time of service in the chapel at 2:00pm with Mr. S Policicchio officiating. Cremation and inurnment to follow. The family would like thank SSM Fire and Rescue, SSM Paramedics, doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers of The Sault Area Hospital Emergency Department and his work colleagues from Essar Steel Algoma for all you guys did for Brian. Memorial donations in Brian’s memory may be made to The Sault Ste Marie Humane Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family.
