Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Antonetta Ficociello (Vernile) can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

FICOCIELLO, Antonetta (nee Vernile)

Peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with her family by her side on Sunday August 13, 2017, Antonetta Ficociello in her 87th year. Wife of the late Sabatino Ficociello. Loving mother of Carmine (Lisa), Antonio of Italy, the late Claudio (Carmela) of Italy and Alba (Mario Vernelli). Nonna of Tino (Pam), Tomasso, Ann, Daniele and Giancarlo of Italy. Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Consiglia Vernile. Sister to Maria (late Carlo) Di Stasio of Italy. Sister-in-law to the late Carmine (Carmina) Ficociello, Inaldo Ficociello (late Adrianna) of Italy and Maria (Itino) Ficociello of Italy. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to visit O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St.) on Wednesday August 16, 2017 from 11:00am until the time of the service in the chapel at 1:00pm with Father Paul Conway officiating. Interment in Holy Sepulchre to follow. The family would like to thank the Sault Area Hospital nurses, doctors and staff on 3C, 3B and 2C for all the care given. A special thank you to Dr. Bruni for his compassion and dedication shown to Antonetta. Donations in Antonetta’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association and would be appreciated by the family.
