Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Young

Peacefully on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 in Dartmouth, N.S. at the age of 69 at the Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Paris, Ontario to the late James Turnbull and Kathleen Keen. Peggy retired from the Canadian Coast Guard after 25 years of service. She was a member of the Dartmouth Stroke Club for many years. She loved travelling, playing bingo, gardening and spending time with family. Peggu is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, Robert “Bob”, daughter Sharon, son Stephen (Karen). She will also be missed by her grandsons Keith and Josh and one great granddaughter Janessa Truro. She is also survived by her brother Jim (Sue) Turnbull of Sault Ste Marie and three nephews as well as three nieces. She is predeceased by her son John. Private family services have taken place in Sault Ste Marie. Donations in Peggy’s memory may be made directly to The Autism Foundation. Local arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
