It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosa Sferrazza at the Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital on Wednesday April 26 2017 at the age of 85 after a brief illness. Beloved wife of the late Angelo Sferrazza (61 years). Loving mother of Sebastian (Veronica Bazely) and Joe (Lisa Garofalo). Cherished Nonna of Antony (Anna), Alex (Rachel), Michaela and Wyatt. Aunt of Mary Thibeault, Gina (Steve) Drinkwater. Beloved sister in law of Santina (Luigi) Sferrazza. Rosa will be remembered affectionately by all her family and friends (especially in the Sault and at the Chartwell Valley Vista Retirement Residence), the Bazely and Garofalo Families. Special thanks to the staff at Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital for all their care and support. Friends are invited to visit at O’Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Center on Wednesday May 3 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. Funeral mass to follow at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church 211 Pentagon Blvd at 1:00 pm with Father Francis Ezenezi officiating. An informal luncheon will be provided during visitation. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Rosa to your charity of choice.
