Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Eugenio Orlando can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Eugenio Antonio Orlando (Eugene)

Suddenly and unexpectedly at home on Wednesday November 25, 2015, Eugene Orlando at the age of 56. Loving husband and best friend of Estelle Orlando for the past 33 years. Eugene will be remembered and deeply missed by his daughters; Elise (Lee Slater), Erica (Brian Fox) and Emily. Grandpa and best buddy to Dean Orlando. Son of Rinaldo and the late Francesca Orlando. Brother of Maria Labbe (Roland St. Germain) and the late Dina Orlando. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Eugene was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed by the music community. Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (Corner of Cathcart and St. James) on Monday, November 30, 2015 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, and Tuesday December 1, from 11:00am-12:30pm. Funeral mass at St. Gregory’s Church (71 Estelle) at 1:30pm with Father Alex Saurianthadathil officiating. Entombment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow. The family would like to thank the Sault Ste. Marie Police, Fire and Paramedics, Crisis Intervention, as well as Dr. Catania for the care given at this difficult time. Memorial donations can be made in Eugene’s memory to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation.
