Obituary for Johanna Beatrice Oostrom-Cadamuro

Johanna passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11,2015 in Bowmanville Hospital. She courageously fought cancer for months…never losing her spirit nor faith. Johanna was born March 26/1942, in Holland she was always proud of her Dutch heritage. The 3rd youngest of 13 siblings immigrating from Holland in 1952 moved to Merrickville where her family tended a farm. Johanna was always a giving soul that would not hesitate to lend an ear, offer life advice and always had a pot of coffee on for those whom wanted to visit. She is survived by her husband of 50+ years Savino Cadamuro and her 4 children Savina , Sergio, Shawn and Scott and her five grandchildren Stephen , Justyn, Joshua, Paige and Alexa. A celebration of her life will take place December 18th at St. Francis of Assisi Parish at 11am. A devoted mother, wife and Catholic, Johanna will always be remembered for her strength, generosity unconditional love and support.Johanna will be sorely missed. Donations in her memory can be made to a charity of choice in Johanna’s name and would be appreciated by the family. Local arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 St. James St at the corner of Cathcart and St. James St.).
