Ed suddenly passed away, leaving our side on Good Friday, March 25, 2016 in his 75th year. Ed leaves behind his much loved dear wife of 47 years Nora Gauthier (nee St. Germain). Much loved and devoted father and father in law of Richard and his wife Tracey Gauthier. Adoring and caring Papa of Dylan, Riley and Morgan Gauthier. He is now reunited with his parents Richard and Lucille Gauthier and his eldest brother Jean-Marie. He will be sadly missed by his siblings Robert (Jeanne), Marcelle (Jules), Olivier (Antoinette), Olivette (Laurent), Jacques (Ginette) and Jean-Paul (Rachelle). Predeceased by his brother Jean-Marie (Noella). Son in law of the late Raoul and Roma St. Germain. Brother in law of James (Cecilia), Normand (Judy) and Raymond. Predeceased by George (Donna), Romeo (late Jean) Donald (late Pat), Eva (late Warren) Visconti. Loving Uncle Ed of many nieces and nephews. Ed will also be missed by his many friends and acquaintances. Dad may you rest in peace and have no more worries as I will make sure that everything will be taken care of with Mom. Your presence and love will be sadly missed. Always there to help your family out at any given time. Dad you were a proud and strong father and enjoyed taking care of mom and the family. You had a passion for the outdoors with all your fishing, hunting, camping and daily walks. We will cherish all the times that we spent together. Dad until we reunite; Je t’aime Papa. As per Ed’s request there will be no public funeral or visitation. Please take a moment of time now that dad has gone to heaven and reflect on something that he may have done for you. Memorial donations in Ed’s memory may be made directly to The Canadian Mental Health Association and would be greatly appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.

“Love forever! The Richard Gauthier Family.”
