Dewar, Sydney (Bucko)

(October 15, 1941 – December 10, 2016) It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Sydney Dewar (Bucko) on December 10, 2016 at the Sault Area hospital with his family by his side. Loving and devoted husband of Theresa Dewar (nee Rossong), adored father of Juanita Dewar. Pre deceased by his sister Elaine (Bunny) and his parents Sydney and Elsie Delaney late Tom Delaney. Cherished brother of Sharon Martel (Ron Sydney’s curling buddy), Teddy Morin (late Adrian), Tommy Delaney (Terry), Kathleen Gassi, Jimmy Dewar, Brenda Warford (Ralph), Darlene McLean (Floyd), Arlene Miller (Bill), Bobby Dewar (Vin) and Dave Dewar (late Laurie). Sydney will also be missed by his Nova Scotia family Kaye MacPherson, Bobby Rossong (Jean), Francis Rossong (Mary), Loraine Rossong and his self-adopted children Debbie Nicolas (Randy), Donnie Doucette (Jane), Denise Prpich (Brian), Joe Doucette (Sharon) and Darlene Mitchell. A special thank you to the nurses and doctors at Sault Area Hospital for their care and compassion. Memorial contributions to ARCH Children’s wing or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the Family. Friends and family are invited to the O’Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Friday, December 16, 2016 between 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. Funeral services to follow in our chapel at 2:00 pm followed by Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery
