Obituary for Zelinda Principe (Perri)
PRINCIPE, Zelinda (nee Perri)
Zelinda passed away peacefully at Sault Area Hospital on Friday, May 1, 2020 at the age of 92, just one month before her 93rd birthday. Zelinda has now reunited with her loving husband the late Antonio Principe. Beloved and caring mother of Joseph Principe (Darlene), Peter Principe, and Elio Principe (Christina). Cherished Nana of Christina Principe, Angela Miller (Jonathon), Jason Principe (Ndidi), Kristin Principe (David) and Anthony Principe. Proud and loving Great Nana of Sophia, Gabriella, Cameron, Anson, Vinson, Jason-Peter, and Jaylynn. Daughter of the late Pasquale and Maria Perri both of Italy. Daughter-in-law of the late Giuseppe and Antonietta Principe. She is the youngest of 13 siblings. She is a loved Zia and cousin of many, both in Canada and Italy. Zelinda was the heart and soul of her family. She enjoyed spending time with her three sons and their families. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her much laughter and happiness throughout her life. A private family service will be held at O’Sullivan Funeral Home officiated by Father Paul Conway. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the SAH Renal Care Fund (705-759-3848 Foundation Office or payable by cheque and mailed to O’Sullivan Funeral Home) would be appreciated. The family would like to thank Dr. Jenkins, Dr. Shafiee, Dr. Berry and the staff of the SAH Renal Clinic who treated mom with great compassion and care. A heartfelt thank you to Karen Petingalo who cared for our mother for sixteen years.
