Luxton, William Ambrose “Bill”-
Passed away at Extendicare Mapleview nursing home on Monday December 16, 2019 at the age of 89. Bill is now reunited with his beloved wife, Anne (nee Singleton). Loving father of Dan (Karen), Jeff (Shelley), Steve (Patricia), Ron (Penny), Cathy, Patty Desjardins (Paul) and the late Randy. Grandfather of Leah, Victoria, Chris, Steven, Jon, Vanessa, Josh, Jessica, Riley, Jacob and Benjamin. Brother of Jim (late Lila), Peter (Lucy) and Gerry. Predeceased by Pat Wilson, Bobby, Ted and Dick. Brother in law to Bill Singleton (Colleen) and the late Brian & Mary Davie, Johnny and Bud Singleton. Fondly remembered by Greta Bailey. Predeceased by his parents, Dallas Ambrose and Leticia Luxton. Special thanks to the wonderful staff at Great Northern Retirement Home, 3rd floor Echo Bay at Mapleview and Audrey & Norma at Premiere. A private family service will be held with interment in the spring at Dunns Valley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or the charity of your choice (payable by cheque).
