Obituary for Vicky Bellefeuille

It is with profound sadness and very heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicky at Arch Hospice on February 21, 2023 at the age of 85. Vicky is predeceased by her husband Fern who adored her; she was the love of his life and he was hers. She was the proud mother of Vicky Lynne (Randy Roy), Michelle (Brian Moreau) and Lorie (Joe Bezzina). Vicky will truly be missed by her grandchildren, Brandy, Ashley, Randy Jr and Alex. Great grandmother of Emma, Olivia, Quinton, Cohen, Hunter, Hannah, Nora and Noah. Vicky is predeceased by her parents Nelson and Marie Dupuis. Loving sister of Raymond Dupuis (Jeanne), late Doreen Muhonen (late Aimo), Theresa Armstrong (Marvin), the late Lorraine Brooks (late Norman), the late Donald Dupuis (Margaret) and the late Eleanor St. Jules (late Art). She was a loved Auntie to many nieces and nephews. She was blessed with wonderful friends, especially Myra Adams and Joanne Crawford. She loved her family and friends and we all loved her dearly.

After retiring, Vicky and Fern spent over 25 years enjoying the Florida Sun together in the winter. One of their favourite places was Englewood, Florida where they walked the beach enjoying each others company, the warm sun and beautiful white sand. They made many friends throughout Florida as they moved from place to place, loving each and every place they called home in the sunshine state. Vicky and Fern were also blessed to spend many years in Haviland enjoying friends, the breezes off of Lake Superior and admiring mother nature's breath-taking sunsets.

Vicky spent her working years as a devoted Nurse. Her profession was her true calling and it blessed her with so many warm and wonderful memories.

"The best part of life's journey...is who you get to share it with".

The family would like to express their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Vicky's health care team - Dr. Luke Fera at SAH for his steadfast support and sincere honesty, Katie Lyons (3B SAH), Dr. Beuhner for her compassion and care during Vicky's stay at ARCH, and all of the amazing staff and volunteers at the Hospice. Thank you to each and everyone of you for your kindness, loving care and compassion.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Vicky and Fern later this spring. In lieu of flowers a donation to ARCH - Payable online at www.archhospice.ca/donate or by cheque) would be appreciated by the family, Please keep Vicky's spirit alive by blessing others with random acts of kindness in her memory.

A Life Well Lived
A life well lived is a precious gift,
of hope and strength and grace,
from someone who has made our world
a brighter, better place.
It's filled with moments, sweet and sad
with smiles and sometimes tears,
with friendships formed and good times shared,
and laughter through the years.
A life well lived is a legacy,
of joy and pride and pleasure,
a living lasting memory our grateful hearts will treasure.
