Passed away peacefully with his wife by his side at the Ontario Finnish Rest Home on January 30, 2020 at the age of 91. Loving husband of Raija. Survived by his sister, Aira Pilvet (late Raul) and family, his brother, Viljo Perttula (Irja) and family along with many relatives in Findland. He will be missed by his friend, Mauri Haapaneva. In keeping with Veini’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service and cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St, 705-759-8456.
