Obituary for Timothy James Kane

KANE, Timothy

There is no death, only a change of worlds. On Sunday October 20 2019, Timothy James Thaddeus Kane, age 55, passed peacefully in Kingston, Ontario to continue his journey with his sister Lisa and brother in law Rod by his side. We are consoled knowing that his beautiful Mom, Hazel, was waiting for him with open arms.
Gone too soon, Tim will be dearly missed by his father Leo, (late Hazel), sisters Lisa (Rod) and Kelly (Dale), brothers Patrick (Heidi) and Ryan. Loving uncle to Christian Leo Vial. Tim will also be missed by his many friends from Kingston who embraced him with their friendship. The family is truly appreciative of this support and we know that he was truly loved – as demonstrated in his final hours. Tim is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins- who will miss his love of puns and sense of humour. He was an avid sports fan...forgoing everything to watch his beloved Broncos, Islanders and Tigers when they were playing. We, his family, would like to thank the nurses and doctors at Kingston General Hospital, who treated Tim with the utmost compassion and respect during his illness. Visitation will be at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre (215 St. James St, 705-759-8456) on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 11:00-1:00pm. Native Prayers with Linda Beam and a Memorial Service with Mr. Len Monico to follow in the chapel.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charlie Hunter Scholarship Fund- survivors of residential schools-(cheque payable to OIRSSS) or the kidney foundation will be greatly appreciated by the family on Tim’s behalf.
