It is with very heavy hearts and incredible sadness we announce the sudden unexpected passing of beloved husband, loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle on December 18, 2020. Survived by his devoted wife Pauline of 51 years, daughter Billie-Jean Duke, sons Ian Arthur George Duke (Sarah), David John Wesley James Duke, grandchildren Augustus Duke and Elizabeth Becker; along with his beloved dogs Bonnie and Clyde. Tom was born in Sault Ste Marie to the late Rev. Raey & Jean Duke. Brother to Jim, Ruth and the late David. He met his lifetime love Pauline as a teenager in Grimsby, ON; where they traveled on many adventures that took them from Yellowknife, to Saskatchewan and eventually back to Sault. Ste Marie. Tom a talented millwright, and hard worker took pride in his work and union at the Algoma Steel. A dedicated family man who was happiest when spending time sailing and on his land on St. Joseph’s island with his wife and his 2 dogs by his side. He will be greatly missed. Per his wishes a private family service will be held. In memory of Thomas, donations can be made payable to or online to Sault Ste Marie Humane Society.
