SEAMAN, Thelma (November 22, 1924-September 29, 2020)
Thelma Seaman passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Harold Seaman (1995) and companion of Earl Burch (2019). Mother of the late Merlyn ‘Lynn’ Bouchard (late Ron), the late Grace McDonald, the late Gerald Seaman and infant son Richard Seaman. Thelma is survived by her daughter Dorothy Fitzgerald. Born in New Liskard, Ontario to Archie and Grace Douglas. Sister of the late Dorothy MacIntyre. Grandmother of Lloyd Kellett (Mary Ann), Karen Douris Wheeler (Doug), Kevin Douris, Rhonda Rendell, Kelly Beaulieu, Veronica Larrett, the late Kevin Bouchard, the late Garrett Fitzgerald Jr., the late Debbie Fitzgerald (Dave), Nolan Covell, Joseph Fitzgerald, the late Michael Fitzgerald, the late J.J. Seaman, the late Becky Seaman, Richard Seaman (Iona) and Andrea Seaman. Special and cherished ‘Granny Poo’ of Tammy and Frank Kment, Tanner (Emily) and Mason Davieaux. She will be missed by her many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. The family wishes to thank management and staff at the Ontario Finish Rest Home (Kotitalo) for welcoming her and making her feel comfortable for her past nine months. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made payable to or on-line to the Finish Rest Home Association or the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held, and a Celebration od Life will be at a later date.
