August 21, 1955 – March 7, 2020Our dear mother/sister/wife, Susan Jakomait (nee Just), at the age of 64, passed away surrounded by loving family, on Saturday March 7, 2020. Dearest wife of Bill Jakomait. Cherished mother of Dustin Jakomait (Liane) and Jesse Jakomait (Angie Martell). Loving grandmother of her most precious, Liam Jakomait. Daughter of the late Karl and Edeltraut Just. Beloved sister of Monica Ruzyski (Murray), Brigitte Grant (Danny), Eleanor Franklin (Russell) and Marilyn Speers (Brian). Daughter in law of Lena (late Walter) Jakomait. Sister in law of Laurie Russell, Almie Greco (Gary), Jimmy Jakomait (Francis), Ronnie Jakomait and Allen Russell. Aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family is grateful for the care and compassion of Dr. Booth, Dr. Kuntz, palliative nurses and PSW’s who helped Susan in her journey. Special thanks to her dedicated sister, Marilyn, who made compassionate overnight care possible for Susan, as she wished to remain in her own home on her own terms. Susan was a feisty fighter until the very end. Sharing of Memories of Susan will be held on Saturday March 14, 2020 at Quattro Hotel (229 Great Northern Rd) in the Great Lakes Room from 1-4 p.m. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
