Gone too soon at 7:10 pm on December 2nd, 2020, at the age of 64. Loving wife of Michael Hanna. Beloved Mother of Natalie (Bill) Mantha, Jordan Hanna, Ashleigh Hanna (Paul) and her feline baby girl Fitzy. Cherished grandmother of Emily and Kaitlyn Mantha. Daughter of the late Verlyn “Vicky” LaPensee. Sister of Laurie Ann (Colin) Streiling and the late David Lapensee and Robert (Anna) LaPensee. Aunt to Marissa (Sean) MacDonald, Jocelyn LaPensee (Justin), Ryan LaPensee, Ashton Streiling and the late Sheldon Streiling. Great aunt to Grace Teneyck, Cooper MacDonald and Bodhi Adam. She will also be missed by many friends and members of the community. Suzanne will be remembered for her contagious smile, being an unapologetic bookworm, her love of gardening and all things to do with nature. Suzanne was highly involved in the Sault Ste. Marie Horticultural Society, the Ontario Horticultural Association (District 13) and worked to “sow the seeds of beauty in people’s minds.” The city of Sault Ste. Marie will be forever enriched by her invaluable contributions made throughout her life.
