Obituary for Sheryl Ann Hicks (Saunders)
It is with broken hearts that the family of Sheryl announces her passing on Sunday, September 25, 2022.
Devoted and loving wife of Robert (Bob) Hicks for 51 wonderful years. Cherished loving mother and best friend of Patricia June, Denise Louise, and David John (Allison). Loving grandmother of Kaitlyn Weise (Nathan) and Owen Weise. Daughter of the late Phyllis Russell (late Douglas). Special sister to late Richard Saunders (Colleen), Randall Saunders (Carole), Ronald Saunders and Gail Selig (Bern). Special aunt to many nieces and nephews. Sister inlaw to Martha Stewart (Harold), Darlene Witty (Terry), Maryann Kwantes (late Bill) and John Hicks. Longtime devoted friend of Shirley Oneill (late Dave) and Rita Matte (late Gerry).
The family is thankful for the wonderful care she received from the nurses and PSWs on 3C and 2C at the Sault Area Hospital. At Sheryl’s request, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering is being planned.
