Obituary for Shelley Anne Murphy

MURPHY, Shelley Anne (The Good One) –
August 22, 1962 - December 4, 2019.

Shelley said goodbye to this world at the young age of 57. She suffered a massive stroke and passed peacefully with family by her side at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto. Thank you to the wonderful Dr.'s & Nurses for trying to help her. Beloved daughter of Cal & Maryanne Murphy. Crazy sister to Trish Furkey (Chris). She was a strong, compassionate mother of Kelvin Bordin & Kaysie Bordin. Wacky Aunt to many & a selfless friend to many friends that will miss her dearly. Her unconditional love & honesty was a gift! As a parent, the number one lesson she would stress is "Be a leader, not a follower". We will honour her
memory by following the examples she set for us! Cheers to you Mom, we love you more today than yesterday but not as much as tomorrow. Shell, thanx for being the "much older" sister LOL and teaching me all your wisdom.... You were one of a kind. You just go and enjoy yourself...no worries here....Hope you find the perfect fishing spot and catch the big one!! It's been a long time since you saw Mark so go find him & have fun!! In keeping with Shelley’s wishes, she was cremated & there will be no service. Thank you so much to Lisa & Kristen for all your help at O’Sullivan Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 215 St. James St (corner of Cathcart & St. James St), 705-759-8456. What an amazing group of people! We would like to thank the Paramedics, Doctors and Nurses of the Sault Area Hospital Emergency for the excellent care that they gave Shelley before being flown to Toronto.

See ya later Shell !!! XXOO
