Obituary for Santina Lepore (Carlucci)
Passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Monday, January 9, 2023, at the age of 82.
Survived by her loving husband Francesco. Mother to John (Linda), David (Roberta), Emilia Maisonneuve (Kirk) and Roni (Laurie). Nonna of Alexa (Adam), Sara (Eric), Cassandra (Nick), Johnna, Kaitlin (Matthew), Megan (Jacob), Bianca, Eric, and Gabriella. Great grandmother of Marco, Madison, and Isla.
Predeceased by her parents Gennaro and Rosaria Carlucci. Sister of the late Simeone Carlucci (late Ermelinda), late Filomena Mendecino (late Saverio) of Belgium, Norina Cuglietta (late Rosario), late Natale Carlucci (late Linda), late Adamo Carlucci (Luisa), Lina Giardino (Italo), Clorinda Nelli (late Romolo) Nella Guzzo (Frank), Lina Ienzi (Francesco), late Armando Lepore (Maria) and Bianca Trunzo (late Rico). Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Santina, or better known as “Nonna”, was the glue to our family. She spent her whole life taking care of the people around her. When she wasn’t cooking for her loved ones, you could find her doing word searches, scratching lottery tickets, and looking at the weekly grocery flyers in her spot at the kitchen table. She loved her family fiercely and always put their happiness first. Most importantly, she built a beautiful life with her one and only love, Francesco. She will be deeply missed, and our lives will forever be changed by her loss.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at O’Sullivan Funeral Home (215 James St, SSM) from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13th, 2023. A service will take place in the chapel at 1:00 pm with entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum.
The family would like to thank Santina’s PSW Sarah of CarePartners, Doctors, Nurses and staff at the Emergency Department at the Sault Area Hospital, O’Sullivan Funeral Home, and John Borrelli and family.
