BRASON, Joan (née Taylor)
Peacefully at ARCH on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at the age of 88, with her son John by her side. She was the loving wife of the late John (Jack) Brason. Treasured mother of John Taylor Brason. Very proud friend of Beaver. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Olga (née Smale) Taylor and her sister Shirley Hodgson. Cherished aunt to Deborah Pereira (Tony) and dear great-aunt to their children, Rebecca (Adam), Stephanie Meyskens (Randy), Jeremy (Amanda) and Carly. Beloved cousin to Larry Kleiman (Sylvia) and their children Rosalyn Adams (Glenn) and Michael, as well as cousins Sammy, and the late Sharon (David late). Sister-in-law of Joan Vardy (Don), late Cliff (late Isabelle), Marg Taylor (late Ed), late Albert (late Irene) and the late Alice Spy (late Andy). Aunt to Krissie Thomas, Alyson Robinson (Rick), Tommy (Char), Carol, Marilyn King (Jim), Joan Williams (late Brian), June Fluke (Dalton), Glenn Taylor (Peggy), Susan Montgomery (Rick), Nancy Pratt (Alan) and Joan McGowan (late Joe). A Celebration of life will be Saturday, June 22 at 12:30 pm. At the Portuguese Club, 5 Cornwall St. (Entrance off North St.) . John wishes to thank Patti-Jo at the North East LHIN, Terry-Jo at Paramed, Dr. Shehada, nurse Sheila Hamilton, Dr. Apostle, the staff and volunteers at ARCH, notably Fernando, Kelly and Nori for the care provided to Joan.
