We are deeply saddened to announce that Rose Fike, comforted by the presence of family, virtually and at her bedside, passed on Friday February 19, 2021 at Sault Area Hospital.
Loved wife of late Herbert Fike. Cherished mother of Mary Pistor (Bart Jarrett) and Janet Allen (Dave). Loving grandmother of late Matthew Pistor, Marc Pistor (Amanda), David Lucas Allen, Nicholas Allen (Adreana), Great grandmother to Callan and Finn Pistor. Fondly remembered by Ryan Jarrett (Lee-Ann), Ashleigh (Spence) and Zachary, Stevi-Ann Jarrett (Steve) and Fern, and Kyle Jarrett.
Born to the late Maria and Eugenio Sanzosti on August 13, 1930. Last remaining sibling of Caroline Ubriaco (Frank), Assunta Maggetti (Johnson), Emma Tadashore (Arthur), Sam Sanzosti (lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Frieda), Mike Sanzosti (Elsie), Vera Esposito and Frank Sanzosti (Carol). She will be dearly missed by Lino Pistor and the Pistor family, special niece Patti Suraci (late Phil) and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends both here and in the United States.
Rose’s life was for her family, especially her children and grandchildren. Her home was filled with love, and food. She was enduringly caring and kind, feisty and generous, especially with her opinion. We will forever miss her endless love and the energy that brought so many of us together.
We would like to thank Dani, Sherry, Nick, Dr. John and Dr. Luke Fera for giving kindness and dignity during her final hours. Her life will be honoured at a later date, when family and friends can come together safely. Donations in her memory to the Sault Ste.
