September 23, 1959 – April 16, 2021
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family at the Sault Area Hospital on April 16, 2021. Son of Margaret “Peggy” Strum and late Ernest Leonard Strum. Loving husband of Melissa McLean. He will be missed by his daughter, Rhonda Strum and special father of Jenna and Raven McLean. Special Papa of Hailey and Owen. Brother of Edward Strum (Krista), Leonard Strum (Janet), Garnet Strum (Edna), Peggy McDonald (late Marshall), Carol Rickard (Philip), Mary Lou Belisle (Dan), Barbara Strum (David Bernie) and Darrell Strum (Julie). Son in law of Lily “Hopp” and Peter. Brother in law of Steve and Jody. Uncle pumpkin to many nieces and nephews and he will be missed by many aunts and uncles. Special friend to many. Cremation will take place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. We would like to thank and extend our appreciation and gratitude to the ICU staff at the Sault Area Hospital for their kindness and generosity. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association.
