Obituary for Roland Perron
PERRON, Roland
Early in the morning of Tuesday October 31, 2023, Roland went to be with God, with his wife and friends by his side, and holy peace in his heart.
The dearest husband of Susanne Quinn Perron. Father of Mahrya (Prasanth), Christopher (Robi Lyn), Marc, Arthur, and Mylene (Richard). Grandfather of Jordan (Jessica), Jamie, Remy, Timothy, Arya, Gabe and Aubrey.
Brother of Paul (late Betty) and Teri (Rod). Brother-in-law of Maralyn (late George), Nori (John) (late Jack) and the late Dennis. Uncle to many nieces, nephews and a friend to many.
In the struggles of this life, he gave himself to charity and hope that those of us who love him would grow stronger. He was truly a man of great determination and talents. We will miss him.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am on Friday November 10, 2023, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (114 MacDonald Ave) with Father Michael Omojola officiating. A graveside Inurnment will be held on Tuesday November 14, 2023, at 11:00am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. (Please meet at Greenwood Chapel parking lot for 10:45).
Thank you to Father Paul Conway, who visited with Roland several times, anointed him, blessed him and gave him the Holy Eucharist. Thank you to the nursing care in the Geriatric ward of the Sault Area Hospital and thank you to his 2 favourite nurses at the F. J. Davey Home.
